Children’s Dental Benefits

Wallan Dental participates in the $1,052 Children’s Medicare Scheme and the $1,052 Child Dental Benefit Scheme. Simply ring us with your Medicare number and we will find out your eligibility and get all of your questions answered! In addition to these benefits, we offer Denti-care payment plans to make sure your child gets the care they need.

Benefits will cover a range of services including examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

Eligibility Basics

• Children aged 2-17 years on any one day of the calendar year.
• Receive, or their family, guardian or caregiver receives, certain government benefits such as Family Tax Benefit Part A for at least part of the calendar year.
• Are eligible for Medicare.
